Words said in haste
Can make an enemy fast
But I hope you will forgive me
And put your anger in the past.

For I really didn't mean it
I don't know why I let you down.
Please erase those words then spoken
And use a smile to replace that frown.

For I value our relationship
And I dont want it to end
Because of angry words once spoken
By a now repentive friend.
