The Beauty of it All

Walking through time, I chose a path
down past the old oak tree.
The first thing I see, is breathtaking beauty.
Outdoors, God had created for me.

Down by the stream. A mother doe was helping
her sweet baby to drink.
Trusting her, to help him through.
Part of life's true link.

Further I walked, down the path,
looked up and I did view.
A bird was singing to her mate.
A lovesong, that was so true.

Amazement filled my heart.
As I looked at the flowers growing.
Such beauty beheld, my eyes did swell.
Not man, But God, had been sowing.
Sitting down on the green grass.
I looked all around.

The picture I saw was astounding.
His love shown to man
By the work of his hand.
In my heart was ever abounding.
