Family Ties

God has given me a treasure to see,
When my sons he gave to me.
Light of my life, joy to my soul,
With my grandchildren I am whole.

Growing up, each one unique,
Different dreams they all did seek.
Child to man they each became,
And in my heart my love's the same.

Growing up was hard on them,
Forced to soon to become a man.
Loving hearts toward me times three,
Helping their mother unselfishly.

Now more love they've given me,
When my grandchildren came to be.
My loving family side by side,
The love of God as our guide.

Each of you, I love you so,
And this I want you all to know.
You have blessed me one and all,
Since you were children, very small.
