Friends Forever and Always

Mothers, brothers, sisters and fathers.
All make up the family tree.
But you my friend, have been adopted.
For you now belong to me.

Our relationship has brought us closer,
than any of those I spoke of.
For I see you as my family,
sent from God above.

Our family tree, was already chosen
from our Father, he chose with love.
But if I had a chance to tell him,
he would have added you, my love.

Friends they call us, everyone.
But in my heart it's more than that.
For I know you'll always be there.
And to me, that's where family lives at.
